ABOUT VIDEO & PERFORMANCE

“Most artistic ideas take some physical form: a film a painting or sculpture, a book, a dance, a something which can be seen, heard, held.”

Becker, H., 1982, Art Worlds

The problem of video art, for me, has a lot to do with an attempt by the artists to make it too deep, and very often turns out to be a simply schizophrenia of images, pseudo-intellectuals. Usually never says anything, it's boring and dull. It stops being a tool of narration to be simply an instrument of an aesthetic experience, as it happens, unfortunately with all art nowadays. it was from these ideas that I started to work on the video, not only from the aesthetic point of view but also as a record of performance. The video is for me, like an extension of the artist mind, a way to pass ideas, not to mention the immense pleasure that gives its realization, small stories to think and have fun, where I am always the main character.
